Formed in 1998 in partnership with the Volunteer Exchange of Santa Clara County, DOVIA Silicon Valley (DOVIA-SV)is celebrating its 9th anniversary of serving and supporting volunteer program administrators in the Silicon Valley region of California. DOVIA-SV strives to provide its membership with an opportunity to network, share materials, keep up to date on new trends and discover solutions to mutual challenges. Providing professional growth and leadership opportunities, and training for both the experienced and new volunteer program professional, DOVIA-SV strives to provide a unified voice and credibility for the volunteer management profession and volunteerism.

DOVIA-SV is now an independent organization, with meetings held at the United Way building in San Jose, CA. It is managed completely on volunteer energies and supported with membership dues. Click here to download our current by-laws. There are DOVIA networks around the globe today, with several in the state of California, including DOVIA-SV.
